Harry Styles, Arcade Fire, Paloma Faith and the record-breaking Dua Lipa are all up for accolades at this year's BRIT Awards before setting off for the Genting Arena! Here's who we're backing to take home the glory!

The BRIT’s celebrates everything that’s good about British music (as well as a few International awards) but mainly it’s a big bash dedicated to the amazing British talent and achievements from the last year in the industry…and this year is going to be another special one.

Now, believe it or not, there’s a Genting Arena element to this year’s show with FOUR of the nominees all stopping by our place over the next few months – and here’s how we’ll think they’ll do at this year’s ceremony.

She gave us a set of New Rules to follow in 2018, before well and truly stating that she doesn’t really give a…erm…fudge in her follow up No.1 single IDGAF – the last 12 months have belonged to one lady and one lady only – Dua Lipa.

You name it, she’s done it. Whether it’s breaking album records, streaming records or even BRIT nominee records, she’s quite literally done it all. Now, it’s crunch time. Will Dua Lipa take home ALL the gongs this year? Well, she certainly has a very realistic change, although she’s in good company. Dua is up for five awards and we reckon she’d be pretty buzzing picking up three on the night. Obviously a clean sweep would be RIDIC, but just been nominated for so many is a huge achievement. Well done, Dua!

The best thing about One Direction splitting up….wait a minute, there’s something good to follow, don’t be too hasty…the best thing about One Direction spliiting up is that we now getfive times the amount of 1D goodness! Harry, Liam, Zayn, Niall and Louis are all doing their own thing, and doing a pretty good job at it too!

Each of the lads of gone down a different musical route and undoubtable, Harry’s shift in style is perhaps the most unique. It’s a throwback. It’s retro. It’s everything that’s good about old fashioned British pop-rock. And he hasn’t gone unnoticed…obviously. Hazza is up for Best British Video Of The Year and even though he’s up against both ZAYN and LIAM PAYNE, we wouldn't be too shocked if he brought home the bacon.

After a brief break from music, Paloma has used the last 12 months to remind us of what we were missing – proper powerful pop. With the ability to lend her vocals to a soft ballad, a high intense pop track or even a dance heavy record, Paloma Faith can turn her hand (or voice) to pretty much everything.

Her singles Crybaby, Guilty and Til I'm Done have all gone down SO well in the Official UK Charts, and eventually earning Paloma a BRIT Award nomination. It’s a super competitive category and we honstely think anyone could take home the title, which makes things even more interesting!

Our fourth and final BRIT nominee / future Genting Arena star comes in the shape of Canadian six-piece, Arcade Fire. The Alt icons returned with perhaps one of the most magical, farfetched, extraordinary records we’ve heard in the last 12 years, nevermind 12 months – it’s a masterpiece.

The band are up for BEST INTERNATIONAL GROUP and although they go head to head with the likes of The Killers, Foo Fighters, HAIM and LCD Soundsystem, we think this crazy talented group could trumpih at this year’s BRIT Awards!
