The moment she became Mrs Robinson...on Neighbours

Back in the 80's, Kylie kick started her career after a successful audition for Neighbours. What was originally a one-week contract turned into a two-year stint. Highlight has to be her character's wedding to Scott Robinson aka Jason Donovan. The episode was viewed by over 20 million people and catapulted Kylie to stardom.

Kylie...the album!

In 1988, Kylie released her self-titled debut LP and boy did it pack a pop-punch! Tracks such as I Should Be So Lucky and The Loco-Motion were the standout songs on the 10-track album, with both singles becoming vertifed Gold records. The LP itself also went straight to No.1 here in the UK - and the whole nation fell in love with Kylie for the second time.

Moulin Rouge!

Yes - how did you forget that Kylie starred in Moulin Rouge! She worked alongside Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor in the Baz Luhrmann classic.

ALL the awards!

You name it - Kylie has won it from BRIT Awards to GRAMMY's, there's nothing this pint-size pop princess can't do! in fact, Kylie has received 13 nominations, bagging three accolades, she's won heaps of MTV Awards from Best Pop Act, Best Dance Act and of course Best Choreography for Can't Get You Out Of My Head and that GRAMMY she scooped was back in 2004 for Come Into My World - see, told you she's won it all!

We can't get Kylie out of our heads!

Arguably Kylie's greatest hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head exceeded all expectations with it's release in 2001 (yes, it was released 17-years-ago)...(yes, we feel old too) as it ran riot in the charts worldwide! The track hit the No.1 spot in over 20 countires including UK, USA, Brazil, Italy, France, Romania and Switzerland and it actually still appears in the UK All-Time Charts Top 100!

The dance routine, the wardrobe, the music...it's quite literally the perfect pop song. Enjoy it!

Kylie - we absolutely love ya and we hope you have a wicked 50th (not that she's going to be reading this or anything), but, she might read your birthday wishes! Get over to Twitter and send your love to Kylie using #HappyBirthdayKylie!
