ARENA PROTECT FAQs
What specific measures have you put in place to ensure my safety from coronavirus when coming to your venue?
Working to current Goverment guidelines, we have introduced a number of new measures, including but not limited to: face coverings, enhanced cleaning, socially distanced layouts and one way systems.
How do I know if I am healthy enough to come to your venue? What should I do?
You should only attend a show at our venue if you’re not self-isolating and/or experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19. If you’re concerned, please refer to the advice given by Public Health England.
Will my event go ahead?

Do I need to do anything different before coming to the venue?
For a full breakdown, please refer to the Arena Protect section on our website for the most up to date information. Ahead of your event you will receive email communications containing everything you need to know ahead of your event.
Is social distancing in operation at the venue?
For each show we will be operating socially distanced layouts within the arena bowl, along with one way systems and people flow management to ensure social distancing. Please follow signage and staff directions to help keep everyone safe.
Will your staff be wearing PPE?
All front line staff will wear masks or visors, unless exempt in which case they will be wearing a Sunflower Lanyard
Have your staff undertaken extra training relating to the new guidance and measures?
Yes, all our staff have undertaken a number of new training sessions relating to new guidance and measures. These are regularly reviewed subject to Government Guidelines.
Will hand sanitiser be readily available to me?
Yes, hand sanitising stations have been installed around the arena and we encourage all fans to wash their hands frequently.
How often do you clean the venue?
The Venue is cleaned fully before and after every event including between shows on days where there are multiple performances. Certain high use areas and touchpoints will also be cleaned/sanitised during performance periods in addition to our usual live event cleaning schedule.
Will I need to wear a face covering?
Yes, you’ll be required to wear a face covering at all times when in the venue, except from when eating and drinking within your allocated seat.
What if I am unable to wear a face covering due to health conditions?
If you are exempt, please make this known to staff on arrival. Alternatively, should you have a sunflower lanyard, please wear this so that we can easily identify you. Please refer to the sunflower lanyard scheme here for more information.
Will I be able to sit next to family and friends at a show?
Tickets to our events will sold to match current government guidance at the time of purchase.
How are you supporting the NHS test and trace programme?
At the point of ticket purchase, the ticket booker will be asked to provide their details for NHS Test and Trace purposes. They will be responsible for contacting all members of their party if required. Fans will also be able to check in using QR codes at the venue. Details will be kept for 21 days following the event and not used for any other purpose.
Can I bring a bag?
We ask that fans do not bring a bag to our venue to help reduce contact points and speed up entry to the venue. However, if you need to bring a bag to carry essentials only, it must be clear and no bigger than A4 to enable a contactless search. Full details on our Bag Policy can be found here.
Which entrance should I use?
Ahead of your event, if you've booked your tickets via The Ticket Factory, the lead ticket booker will receive and email detailing the recommended entrance to use on the night of your event. will also be detailed on the specific page for your event.
What happens if people around me are not adhering to guidance?
We ask anyone attending a show at our venue to respect and adhere to guidance. If you notice people around you not adhering, please make a member of our stewarding team aware who will be happy to investigate and resolve the situation.
What changes will there be to the ticket check and search operation?
Wherever possible we will be operating a contactless search and ticket check. We would ask customers to follow instructions indicated in your booking confirmation / tickets and upon arrival to do the same.
Are you still operating hospitality at shows?
Yes, Amplify will still be offering hospitality packges at select shows. To find out which shows you can enjoy Amplify hospitality, please visit the Amplify website.
Are you accepting cash for payments in the arena?
No, to reduce contact points we are operating cashless venue, meaning that all food, drink merchandise and parking machines will accept contactless payments.
Can I still buy food and drink?
If you need to refuel or quench your thirst, you may notice some of your favourite items are no longer on the menu. We have implemented this change to ensure we can maintain social distancing within our kitchens. Still delicious though. Can I still buy merchandise?
Yes, merchandise will be still be able to purchase around the venue using a contactless payment method only. Cash will not be accepted.
Can I still buy parking tickets?
If you are driving to the venue, we encourage you to pre-book your parking to secure your parking space through a completely contactless experience. Pre-bookable spaces are limited. Should you need to pay on the day, all of our payment machines will be contactless payment only.
