Amplify's Love At First Bite

Okay, let's dive right in. Here's how you can WOW your better half this Valentine's Day with this amazing Seafood Cocktail for 2!




  • 56g tinned white crab meat - drain liquid
  • 100g cooked prawns - drain liquid
  • 84g of smoked fish options can be - smoked salmon / smoked trout / smoked mackerel - cut fish into small bite size




  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
  • 1 Teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce (if you have it)
  • 1 teaspoon of each brandy & sweet sherry (if you have it) or replace with lemon juice
  • Pinch of cracked or black pepper (if you have it)
  • 2 drops of Tabasco (if you have it) or small pinch of chilli powder for heat
  • Mix all the seafood sauce ingredients into a bowl and whisk until smooth and then taste,
  • Fold the seafood ingredients into the seafood sauce,




  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
  • 2 small cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
  • Thinly Slice Artisan bread and brush with olive oil both sides, sprinkle chopped green herbs can be any of chervil / dill / parsley and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown and crisp (leave to cool down) (sprinkle with sea salt if you have it)
  • Mixed bistro lettuce (wash and present into any cocktail glass then add mixed seafood)
  • Finish the glass with lemon wedge / cut cherry tomato's / baked bread & herb crostini
