JLS have announced a free matinee concert for all NHS frontline staff and hospital workers set to take place on Saturday 28th November at Birmingham Resorts World Arena. Aston, Marvin, Oritsé and JB have announced that the additional matinee NHS free show during their eagerly awaited ‘Beat Again’ comeback tour, however the one off special gig will be centred around celebrating and honouring the incredible efforts made by the UK’s NHS frontline staff and primary care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A cause particularly close to Oritsé due to the support his mother has received from the NHS he said “I have always championed and extended my gratitude to the NHS at every opportunity possible, from the way that the incredible nurses had supported my mother through her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. I am so incredibly proud that my JLS brothers and I are able to come together, to put on a special show for all of the NHS superheros on the frontline”.

Speaking on behalf of the whole band JB said “We can never be too grateful for the NHS. The privilege of free healthcare from professionals who have studied for many years to obtain the knowledge and skills to keep us healthy cannot be underestimated; and not just in the face of adverse times as we are facing now. With multiple close friends who are doctors in the NHS and my Mum who has worked as part of the NHS for over 25 years, it’s incredibly important for us to give back to our health heroes”.

Those eligible for tickets will be all NHS frontline staff that work within NHS hospitals across the United Kingdom including, but not limited to, doctors, nurses, support workers, ambulance staff, porters and cleaners. Any staff that work within the hospital will be eligible to apply for a ticket. Eligible NHS staff members are entitled to bring one guest with them but will need two tickets (one for them and one for their guest).

Tickets will be limited to 2 per person (eligible NHS, Primary Care & emergency service staff members and one guest) and will be available from Wednesday 22nd April via theticketfactory.com. The band are also offering a number of tickets to a few select charities and organisations they have personal affiliations with to reward their staff for the hard work they continue to do protecting the country's most vulnerable people.

Ticket applications must only be made by the eligible frontline staff (NHS staff, Primary Care staff and Emergency Services) who must bring their valid staff I.D card (original format, no photocopies) to the show, as ticket checks will be in operation. All tickets will carry the name of the person who made the booking, and this must match the name that is on the original I.D card or admission will be refused. The guest of the eligible staff member will need to present and enter the venue at the same time.

Multi BRIT and MOBO Award winning boyband, JLS recently reformed after a seven year hiatus bringing boyband hysteria back to the UK and their legions of loyal fans across the country. Having carved out their own niche as a mid-late noughties mainstay, the band's long awaited return to the spotlight follows a record breaking career.
